The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the number of coronavirus infections will reach 10 lakhs within the next few days.
The WHO also said it was revising its suggestion for precautionary measures and encouraged discussions on the use of face masks.
According to data from the Johns Hopkins University, coronavirus infections are estimated at 9 lakh 37 thousand 170 and more than 47,200 have lost their life.
Considering the potential risk of coronavirus, half of the world's population is said to be in some kind of regulated state.

Meanwhile, the WHO, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund have called for debt relief in developing countries, not to ruin the economy.
The WHO chief said governments should provide food and other basic services to at-risk communities.
